The cable car to Punta Helbronner with one of the most famous ski run “The Vallee Blanche” can be used on normal skiing days. On bad weather days, the tree skiing around Col Checrouit is a must. Courmayeur (1,224 m) is part of the autonomous region of Aosta Valley. Located at the southern side of Mont Blanc (4,810 m) the highest peak in the Alps and western Europe. Courmayeur is also known as the secret capital of alpinists due to its location and is one of the oldest and most famous tourist resorts in the Alps. With local products from the Aosta Valley such as cheese, ham and wine specialties, which are still produced today according to ancient tradition, the enjoyment in the region is also guaranteed next to the slopes!
The heliski area is located southwest of Courmayeur and south of Mont Blanc. Wild, alpine areas with a big numerous of heliski opportunities are waiting to be discovered.
